Casually you step behind the chopper a split second later bullets hammer against it.
Reaching out with your mind, you feel the now familiar sensation of bugs crawling over your brain.

Through a haxe of the soldiers fear you find that soldiers knew what to expect from your abilites, and are supposed to bring you all in alive.

At the moment they are to damn terrified to give a shit.
But try as you might you cant affect them in any physical way.

You dive after Dylan as the soldiers start blasting a little too late. You take a couple of hits in the chest, but your vest takes most of the damage. You lie on the deck of the chopper gasping for air.

The pilots are still up front, there were people in the cockpit of the other chopper as well, there are the soldiers outside who have stopped shooting for the moment.
Dylan is on board with you and Andrew is outside hiding behind the helicopter.

As you are inside the soldiers minds, you feel someone else slide in amongst your thoughts.
"Dont fight us, we know what has happened to you."

"I am in the other helicopter with my partner," he sends you an mental image of himself and his partner.
He is a tall rugged looking black man wearing hunting clothes and a hoodie, his partner is a severe looking woman wearing a suit and shades. They are standing in the hold of the other chopper.

He seems genuine, but he also seems to be able to show you only what he wants you to see.
Now that you are aware of him you can sense that it was this telepath that shielded the soldiers from your mental control.
"You have nothing to fear from us we are on the same side."

I jump out of the heilcopter and yell "Spoon!" and run as fast as i can using my tenrils if necessary towards the terminal right hand side through what looks like a cargo area.

I rip the Ivs from the prisoners , grab the slain soldiers weapons and follow tristin

I'll grab a weapon from the soldiers (if there are any left) and run towards my new friend.

Dylan and Andrew grab a blood splattered assault rifle each from the mutilated soldiers then Dylan and Tristan sprint off toward the cargo area.
As they do the other two soldiers flinch and shoulder their rifles but don't fire.
As they get closer, the inside of the terminal yawns wide and dark.

Andrew walks towards the other chopper, the soldiers bristle at his approach, he can sense the telepath communicating with the soldiers though they keep him in their sights, they do not fire.
The telepath and the woman in the suit step down from the helicopter and walk towards Andrew.

i stop and spin around to see if Andrew is following. i scream "fucking run Andrew!"
