Day 1 of the Perthocalypse

You have never seen so many ambulances go past in you life, otherwise there is almost no traffic on the road.
Strangely the radio has a fair bit static, you can make out something on the news about a localized storm over kings park.

When you get to the airport the car park is packed, you will have to go inside to pick up Andrew there is no way you will be able to spot him amongst all of the commotion out here.

As you get out of the car you notice a guy with a big moustache in his car glaring at you, his indicator is on, he obviously wanted your park.

What do you do Tristan?

Andrew (Tension 1)

It has been a really shitty overnight flight.
Some guy a couple of rows over wont stop coughing. It is that wet make-you-feel-sick when you hear it kind of cough.
The guy looks bad, how he got on the flight? Who knows. He has yellow-grey blotches and dark veins on his face and looks like he is on death's door the weird thing is no one seems to take any notice.

So you order a drink to take off the edge... and the stewardess spills it over your face. Everyone who sees it laughs.
She wont stop apologizing as she follows you to the toilet, she must be new.
So you are in the toilet sponging yourself off, when you hear a woman's voice in the next cubicle singing...

I have a really good look at him in the mirror then i pull out and just park it any where even on the foot path i don't care. just close by. then i get out and look around then quickly walk inside and try to avoid any guard/police outside unless i have to.

The guy with the mo gives you a big wave and a hair covered grin. There are no guards around, but there is a big crowd near the arrival gate, gathered around watching something you cant hear anything over their chatter, except something about fell over and explode.

i find someone that looks like they have been standing around for a while, i then ask them what has been going on.

Dylan (Tension 1)

"Fucking sheep," that is the thought that keeps passing through your mind as you look at the other passengers, it is like travelling with a paddock full of herd animals.

The highlight of the flight was when the air hostess spilt Andrew's drink on his head, a third of it landed in your lap, but it was worth it to see that look on his face.

You are so glad you stuck your foot out and "accidentally" tripped her, it really took the edge of the boredom.
Andrew isnt another of the herd, he gets it, but he can never know about your hobby. He still thinks of himself as one of the sheep even though he isnt one of them.

Standing by Andrew's cubicle, he is handing you paper towels to wipe the drink off, as he dries his face. You see Andrew's head snap up listening, it is then that you hear it too - snatches of a nursery rhyme coming from the next cubicle.

Its door isn't locked, in fact it is slightly ajar. What do you do Dylan?

A red haired woman with almost transparent pale skin is standing near the edge of the circle with blood splashed across her blouse and a dazed look on her face.
"It was terrible... his stomach and throat swelled up... and just... well exploded. He twitched for a bit then stopped moving."
Her eyes glaze over as she withdraws into herself, locked in some nightmare replay of the event

I look at the lady as if she was insane and start to move away from her and towards the crowd to see what is going on. i light a cig.

The lady with the red hair shuffles backwards away from you muttering quietly under her breath.
The crowd parts as you push through. Sprawled on the ground is the corpse of a middle aged bald man, his abdomen, chest and neck have ruptured outwards, security staff are trying to push the crowd back while medical staff try to scrape what is left of the man on to a stretcher.
Opposite you a teenager with jet black hair opens his mouth and black worms or tentacles flick out. He looks up at you as if sensing your gaze and grins at you with an evil smile.

I return to my seat and order another drink. I chew some gum, then spit it onto Andrews seat (lol, that is going to be sooooo funny).

I also get the stewardess phone number, not only does she give me my drink, I give her "the look" and she leaves me the whole bottle.

Time to get my drunk on.

i yell out that "the guy with the black hair has a bomb" and i point to the teenager

By the time you knock the third drink back you have a warm feeling in your belly and head. There is a guy a couple of rows over hacking and coughing.
He doesnt look very well at all, his face has sweat and blotches all over it, he is starting to really gross you out.

[Mr Nay]

A security guard appears as if from nowhere and smashes the creepy little bastard to the ground. Women are screaming and people are running all over the place, it is utter mayhem.
The stretcher holding the corpse gets knocked over in the chaos, sending it sprawling onto the ground.

i start to back away but all the time watching that teen.

I get up and walk past the sick man, flicking a droplet of my "go away" formula into his glass of water while he is distracted. I return my seat, and chew some more gum.

(This should be funny, wonder if he will pass out before or after he starts foaming at the mouth and vomiting.)

Another guard has come and is helping the first guard pull the teenager to his feet.
That is when the kid opens his mouth wider than it should, the black tendrils lash out from mouth and pulls the guard's head in.
The new guard yanks the kid back, causing the first guard to scream as his face comes off in the kids mouth.

[Mr Nay]

Dylan
Back in your seat chewing your gum and drinking straight from the bottle, you glance over at the sick man now and then.
His head lolls around, his face is greyer and yellower than ever. Then he surges to his feet, leans over the seat in front of him and takes a massive bite of the woman sitting there's neck.

i move so the teenager cant see me but i can see him and i watch and wait.

I press the button on my seat to call the stewardess, Cause I want another drink .... and stick my gums into Andrews head rest (I wonder whats taking him so long in the bathroom)

Ducking behind a corner you watch the chaos build. The second guard is attempting to taser the teen while staying out of reach of his black mouth tentacles.
The mutant punk seems unfazed by the electrical surge. The guard with the ruined face has crawled away and is bleeding out near your hiding place.
Some of the fleeing crowd have pulled others down and are eating them. There are knots of people at the doors going out, but only a few people are going deeper into the airport.

No one is responding to the buzzer. A couple of male passengers are attempting to restrain the hungry sick guy and getting bitten by him in the process.
Andrew still isn't back from the toilet.
