You skulk between the broken down planes and end up behind the slaver in the robes and tats and his slaves.
The slaver is holding a pistol and peering around a grounded plane the slaves are standing silently staring at the woman who was being beaten and helping her stand.
No one has noticed you.

Ok, the slaver in the robes has his back to you, you aim the crossbow at him roll nimbleness + shoot, you cant see the one in the gas mask he is across the road out of sight.

The crossbow bolt flies out and hits the slaver in the shoulder. With a yelp of pain, he drops his pistol and falls to the ground clutching the protruding bolt.
The slaves are straining to get free and look at you with a glimmer of hope.

You hear an ear splitting boom and feel something like a whole swarm of bees stinging you at the same time.

As you fall everything seems to be in slow motion. You turn and see the slaver in the white gas mask step out from behind a rusted plane pumping his shotgun.
Two of the slaves are free one has the pistol, the slaver in robes and tats is lying bleeding.
The rest of the slaves are using the unconscious slaver's knives to cut themselves free.
Just as all goes black one of the free slaves blasts the Gas mask slaver with the pistol.

(Ooc: I should never have given the slaver a shotgun. Fix lost his exact Health in the blast so he is not beyond help if you want to continue with him in a later game.)

Voices are the first thing Fix becomes aware of, voices arguing.
"And I say he isnt going to wake up," growls a man's voice.
"You have seen how fast his wounds are closing, it is only a matter of time," replies a woman's voice.
"Time we dont have, the slaver's rations are running out and this morning I found bite marks on one of their corpses."
"Ok," the says woman. "One more day, then we go."

Opening your eyes you seem to be in one of the rusted plane hulks, the freed slaves are sitting around a camp fire near the door. One is standing on another plane body keeping watch.

You can almost see the tumble weed roll by as all of their heads turn to face you, the guy standing on the plane wreck keeping watch slips and almost falls backwards.
Mutely one of the guys walks over and offers you a badly rolled cig.
Looking down you notice the shotgun blast on your chest looks no worse than a bad rash.
